This would be the center of the block where the Tower Theater stands on Vernon Street.

At this time the high school was located in the old Golden Eagle Hotel and the Davis Theater Building on Vernon Street. The pictured playground was near the intersection of Atlantic Street, Vernon Street and Folsom Road.

Description
The Roseville Grange, Placer County's pioneer grange, was organized in 1874. In 1908, the Grange was removed to Antelope. This photograph was taken in about 1907 in front of the William Sawtelle store (originally the J. D. Pratt store) at the corner of Pacific and Lincoln Streets. The stairway in the photo leads to the Grange Meeting Hall which occupied the second floor of the store building

The staircase in the background leads to the second floor of the store building where the Grange met until 1908, when it was moved to Antelope.

Description
Located on Atlantic Street, this building was constructed by W. A. Thomas in 1878 for use as a wagon, carriage and paint shop. It was later used as a livery stable and a warehouse. In the 1890's, the Schnabel Brothers of Newcastle used it as a fruit packing shed. It was dismantled and hauled to the Schnabel ranch in 1907 for use as a storage warehouse.
