A railroad track is running through the building with a railroad car sitting on the tracks. Identification numbers on the railroad car are P.F.E. 2513.
Description
From note with photograph - This photograph shows construction detail of the Pacific Fruit Express ice-making facility when it was being built. The P.F.E. Ice Plant, the world's largest ice-making facility, was completed in October 1908 and was razed in the summer of 1974.
